I. Before You Begin:

1. You must be rooted before you can do this procedure. Please head to our How to Root the Prestigio PAP4500 procedure first and root your device, then come back to this procedure and continue.

2. Your device should have at least 60% of battery life left.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. ClockworkMod Recovery Image

2. Mobileuncle MTK Tools — QR Code (Google Play Link)

III. Flashing a Custom Recovery on the Prestigio PAP4500:

1. Download and place the CWM Recovery Image on your Desktop.

2. Rename the Recovery Image to recovery.img.

3. Connect your device to your PC using the USB cable.

4. Copy the Recovery Image over to the root of your SD card.

5. Once the Recovery Image’s been copied, unplug your device from your PC.

6. Now head over to the Google Play and download and install the Mobibleuncle MTK Tools app on your device.

I. Before You Begin:

1. You must be rooted before you can do this procedure. Please head to our How to Root the Prestigio MultiPhone PAP4300 DUO procedure first, finish it and then come back to this one and continue.

2. Make sure your device has at least 60% of battery life left.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. TWRP Recovery Image

2. Mobileuncle MTK Tools — QR Code (Google Play Link)

III. Flashing a Custom Recovery on the Prestigio MultiPhone PAP4300 DUO:

How To Root LAVA Eris 504Q

The Lava Iris 504Q is a which is made by a an Indian located manufacturer as the device has some nice features – such as 1.2GHz quad-core CPU with a gig of RAM, a 5-inch IPS touchscreen display and an 8MP camera.  Any way the  device currently runs on  Android 4.2 Jellybean and with no confirmation from the company about a 4.3 update, but flashing a custom ROM is the way to go if you want a taste of the latest what Google has offered to us.  Before this though, you will need to be rooted and have a custom recovery installed; the post below will help you get the first part of that out of the way – rooting the Lava Iris 504Q.

I.  Before You Begin

1.  Back up anything you feel is important.

2.  Charge your device to 75% or more before you begin.

3.  Install the proper drivers before you start.  If you are unsure, run the file from #2 in the Necessary Downloads section below and then proceed.

II.  Necessary Downloads

1.  mt6589_rooting_pkg.zip

2.  Mobistel_Cynus_T1_Drivers_x86.exe

III.  Rooting the Lava Iris 504Q

1.  Enable USB Debugging on your device.  To do this, go to Settings > Developer Options and tick the USB Debugging checkbox.

2.  Connect your device to your PC using a compatible microUSB cable.

3.  Extract mt6589_rooting_pkg.zip to a folder on your desktop.

4.  From the extracted folder, double-click on run.bat to start the rooting procedure.

5.  Follow the on-screen instructions.

Your Lava Iris 504Q should now be completely rooted! Use an app like Root Checker Lite from the Play Store to verify if at all you need to.
