How to Flash CWM Recovery On Prestigio PAP4040

So you have rooted your Prestigio PAP4040 smartphone and now wish to flash some custom ROMs on it? Great! I. Before You Begin:

1. You must have rooted your device before doing this procedure. Please head to our How to Root the Prestigio PAP4040 procedure first and root your device, then come back to this one and continue.

2. Your device should have at least 60% of battery life left.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. TWRP Recovery Image

2. Mobileuncle MTK Tools — QR Code (Google Play Link)

III. Flashing a Custom Recovery on the Prestigio PAP4040:

1. Download and place the Recovery Image onto your Desktop.

2. Make sure the recovery image is named as recovery.img.

3. Now head over to the Google Play and download and install the Mobileuncle MTK Tools app on your device.

4. Plug in your device to your PC using the USB cable.

5. Copy the Recovery Image over to the root of your SD card.

6. Once it’s been copied, unplug your device from your PC.

7. Launch the Mobileuncle MTK Tools app from your App Drawer.

8. Hit the Recovery option and choose the Recovery Image you copied earlier to be flashed on your device.

10. Once the recovery’s been flashed, reboot your device.
