[Tutorial] How To Root & Flash TWRP Recovery On Verizon Samsung Galaxy S5 Developer Edition

Samsung Galaxy S5 is the beast flagship device from Samsung, It have been now with major carriers such as Verizon, T-Mobile etc. Now some flagship also comes with Developer Edition. The developer edition is somehow a little different from other normal devices. It comes with unlocked bootloader so that the developers can test their ROMs. Apps etc with no worries.

Here we came with the Developer Edition Of Samsung Galaxy S5 which is from Verizon network carrier. We will now Flash a Custom Recovery called "TWRP Recovery" (Team Win Recovery Project). This recovery also works as CWM Recovery but the UI is change and some other minor changes is included. As you know Recovery help us to Flash ROMs, Package Files, Themes, Apps, system permissions etc. In this tutorial we will also root our developer edition of Galaxy S5. Root access also allows us to have full control on the OS. Just follow the below steps:


Before You Begin: (must do)
1. Drivers must be installed on your PC, please install the following:
a. Samsung USB Drivers    b. Samsung Kies


Downloads:
1. openrecovery-twrp-2.7.0.0-klte.tar
2. Odin.zip
3. SuperSU.zip


Flashing Recovery:
1. Download the above files.
2. Turn off your smartphone, Restart in in Download mode by press and hold Volume Down + Home Button + Power Button at the same time, don't leave the buttons until you see a Warning screen, when Warning screen appears leave all buttons and press Volume Up Button to continue to download mode.
3. Open Odin.
4. Connect your smartphone to PC via USB cable.
5. Added! message will be shown in the message box of Odin, that means your device is properly connected.
6. Click PDA button and choose the openrecovery-twrp-2.7.0.0-klte-.tar file and click Start.
7. Success message will be shown. Your recovery will be flashed successfully.
8. To go into Recovery, Hold Volume Up + Home Button + Power Button when the phone boots and Samsung Logo appears, release buttons. Your device will boot in recovery mode.


Rooting Device:
1. Now move the SuperSU.zip file to the internal storage of device.
2. Reboot your device in Recovery mode.
3. In Recovery mode, Install zip from sdcard > Choose zip from sdcard and find the Supersu.zip file. Click that file and Swipe to install it.
4. After installation reboot your system.


Having Problem:
1. If the Added! message in Odin is not shown so the device is not properly connected and not supported

Rooting Device:
1. Now move the SuperSU.zip file to the internal storage of device.
2. Reboot your device in Recovery mode.
3. In Recovery mode, Install zip from sdcard > Choose zip from sdcard and find the Supersu.zip file. Click that file and Swipe to install it.
4. After installation reboot your system.


Having Problem:

It have a finger print sensor which can be used a finger for passwords etc. This Galaxy S5 also comes with some air gesture features such as Eye scroll, Smart Pause etc. Now this device has been got root access in order to use it more app compatible. 1. You should install drivers for your device. Go to : Samsung USB Drivers.

Rooting:
1. First download the above CF-Auto-Root-klte.........zip file.
2. Extract the zip file.
3. Now Open the Odin app in the PC.
4. Restart your phone in download mode by hold and press Volume Down + Home Button + Power Button at the same time for some time, don't leave the buttons until a warning screen appears, so leave all buttons and press Volume Up button to continue to download mode.
5. Now connect your S5 to PC via USB cable.
6. Added!! Message will be shown in the message box of Odin as shown below,
This Added!! message means your device is connected properly and works fine. If this message didn't appeared so try installing drivers.
7. Now click on PDA and choose the other .md5.tar file which was in the zip package file.
8. Then click Start. your phone will reboot and you will see a Pass message as shown below.
Your Device is now rooted successfully. Enjoy

Now adays people have PC with 2 GB RAM but yet this tablet comes with 3 GB RAM which will run more faster and smoother. Its back side is covered with a leather back which gives a soft premium feel as compared to hard polycarbonate.

Now adays the tablets are packed with low pixels camera which means tablets not supposed to be a great camera devices, now we are seeing this tablet comes with an 8 Megapixel camera which gives us such a high resolutions pictures and videos with awesome output. Also the led flash will help us take photos and videos in night with great brightness and low light.



Any how it was just the small review of the tablet, but we are not doing a full review we are flashing something here, we will now flash/install a custom recovery called ClockWorkMod recovery which will enable every user to install .zip package files, those package files includes apps, tweaks, mods, system apps, themes, ROMs etc. Get ready to Flash ClockWorkMod recovery on Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition SM-P605

1. Drivers must be installed on your PC, to support your tablet in download mode, If you haven't install any drivers so go to : Samsung USB Drivers.

3. philz_touch_6.25.8-lt03wifiue.tar.md5 (SM-P601 Model)
4. Odin3.zip

Installation:
1. Download the above both files.
2. Now extract the Odin and Open Odin app.
[this is Odin v3]

3. Now restart your tablet in download mode by pressing and holding Volume Down + Power Button at the same time for some time, don't leave the buttons until a Warning Screen Appears. When Warning Screen appears just press Volume Up Button  to continue into download mode,
4. Now connect your tablet to PC, via USB cable,
5. Added! message will be shown in message box of Odin app. That means the device is properly connected, if not then try drivers installation

6. Now click On PDA and choose the philz_touch.......tar.md5 file. & then click Start button.
7. There will be a Pass message shown above which means the recovery is flashed correctly.


8. To go into recovery mode, press and hold Power Button + Volume Button and dont leave the buttons until the tablet reboots and Samsung logo appears, then leave the power button and keep press Volume Up Button, the tablet will boot in recovery mode.

9. To Restart your phone in Recovery mode hold and press Volume Up Button + Power Button + Home Button at the same time until the Samsung logo appears, then leave all buttons your phone will boot in recovery mode,

How To Root And Flash CWM Recovery On Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Sprint

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is also now on Sprint and other major carriers. We have early got a root access to Galaxy Note 3 but this time it is changed so we need new method for rooting this device. This time we are not only rooting this device but we are also flash a custom recovery called CWM Recovery. Get ready to Root & Flash CWM Recovery On Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Sprint.

Before You Begin: (must do)
1. Drivers must be installed on your PC, if not go to: Samsung USB Drivers.

Downloads:
1. CWMRecovery.tar
2. Odin
3. SuperSU.zip

Flashing The Recovery:
1. Download the above all files.
2. Extract Odin and Open Odin.
3. Connect Your device in Download Mode by pressing, Home Button + Power Button + Volume Down Button at the same time for short time, dont leave buttons until your phone appears with a Warning Screen, then leave all buttons and press Volume Up button To Continue to download mode. Now wait for PC if it installs the drivers.
4. Added! Message will be shown in the message box of Odin. that means your device is properly connected.
5.  Now in Odin click PDA and choose the recovery.....tar file where you downloaded it before and click Start button in Odin.
6. Your Note 3 will be restarted and flashed with a Custom Recovery.
To go into recovery mode, press and hold Volume Up + Power Button + Home Button at the same time for some time, dont leave buttons until Samsung logo appears, then keep press Volume Up button and leave other buttons. Your phone will start in recovery mode.

Rooting The Note 3:
1. Now move the above SuperSu.zip file to the internal storage of your device.
2. Restart your phone into recovery mode.
3. In Recovery mode (for navigation use Volume up/down and for click use power button), click Install zip from sdcard > Choose zip from sdcard and click that SuperSu.zip file and then click Yes, to install it.
4. After installation Just Reboot Your System.

3. In Recovery mode (for navigation use Volume up/down and for click use power button), click Install zip from sdcard > Choose zip from sdcard and click that SuperSu.zip file and then click Yes, to install it.
4. After installation Just Reboot Your System.
4. Your phone will be Now rooted and see the SuperSu app in the Menu.

Flashing Recovery:
1. Download the above both files.
2. Extract only Odin, and Open Odin.
3. Now turn off your smartphone, turn it on in download mode by pressing Home Button + Volume Down + Power Button, dont leave buttons until a warning screen appears, when warning screen appears leave all buttons and Press Volume Up button to continue to download mode.
4. Connect your smartphone to PC via USB Cable, in download mode.
