How To Root Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 GT-P5100

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a mid range of tablet from Samsung, this is designed as the Note 10.1 but there is difference in the specs, it has 10.1" screen, 1 GB RAM, 16/32 GB storage, 3.15 Megapixel camera, 1 Ghz Dual Core CPU and 4.1 Jellybean. We want to root this tablet to get full control on the OS and enable more functions and features. Get ready to root Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 GT-5100

Before You Begin:
1. Drivers should be properly installed on your PC, if not so go to: Samsung USB Drivers
2. Enable USB Debugging in your tablet, go to: Settings > Developer Options > Enable USB Debugging.

Downloads:
1. CF-Auto-Root.tar
2. Odin

Rooting The Tablet:
1. Download the above both files.
2. Extract the Odin zip file.
3. Open Odin.
4. Now turn off your tablet.
5. Turn it on in download mode by pressing Volume Down + Power Button at the same time, for some time, dont leave the buttons until a Warning Screen appears, then leave all buttons and Press Volume Up to continue to Download Mode.
6. Now connect your Tablet to PC via USB cable.
7. Added! message will be shown in the message box of Odin.
8. Now click PDA and choose the CF-Auto-Root.tar file and click Start.
9. Your device will be rooted, and restarted.
